It applies to our customers and to their end recipients where we process data on a customer's behalf.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our services, we collect:

• Account information — name, business email, company details, and billing information when you sign up.
• Message content and metadata — the content, recipient identifiers, and delivery status of messages you send through our API, processed on your behalf.
• Usage and log data — API requests, dashboard activity, and diagnostic logs used to operate and secure the platform.

3. How We Use Information

We use this information to deliver messages through the channels you select, authenticate your account and API keys, monitor delivery and quality guardrails, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and meet our own legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Our Role: Controller and Processor

For account and billing information, we act as a data controller. For the content and recipient data within messages you send through our API, we act as a data processor on your instructions — you remain responsible for having a lawful basis and, where required, opt-in consent from your recipients before sending.

5. Sub-Processors and Channel Partners

Delivering messages requires sharing limited data with the underlying channel providers — Meta for WhatsApp, Google for RCS Business Messaging, telecom carriers for SMS, and mailbox providers for Email — strictly as needed to route and deliver each message. Each of these operates under its own privacy terms.

6. Data Retention

We retain message metadata and delivery logs for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy legal and regulatory retention requirements, and resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Account information is retained for the life of your account and a reasonable period afterward.

7. Data Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring to protect data on our platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the country it was collected in — including to channel partners operating globally — we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
